Hi guys! I’ve missed you!
Katie here. Have you noticed that I have not been featured on this blog for days and days? Months maybe? Well. I’ve noticed it too, and let me tell you I’ve been telling my Mama off. After all, what in the world is more important than me? Right. NOTHING! That’s what I’ve been telling her too. Even Dad noticed that she hasn’t written about me!
Tonight when she finally got home from work she said we’d go on an adventure. Yea. Right. She says that all the time and then do you know what happens? Absolutely n.o.t.h.i.n.g. So when she got my leash down I was all excited. And you know where we went?
Big purple flower. Yawn.
We went on a walk around the yard.
Little purple flower. Double yawn.
Yea. Exciting isn’t it. My own darn yard. And she made me pose next to flowers and stuff. This did not feel like an adventure at all. I have been gypped once again.
So I stole a tomato out of the garden.
Yum!
Cause I deserve it.
I want a real adventure!

As I often tell my dog: My life doesn’t revolve around you (OK, it does, but sometimes I like to pretend it doesn’t)!

Maybe tomorrow, Katie. Your mama has been busy but she still loves you. You know, when we humans get older we slow down sometimes.

Aw man…what’s your Mama thinking Katie? You just keep on telling her that she needs to take you on a real adventure…perhaps one that involves camping! 😉 Until then though, enjoy those nummy tomatoes!

Katie, thank goodness Mama took you on an adventure. It must be awful to be ignored, especially when Life keeps your mama busy. I am still smiling that your mom used to go to the Hungarian Falls.

Oh, Katie, you make me laugh! Yes, you’ve been unceremoniously ignored. Yes, an adventure isn’t an adventure if it doesn’t go farther than one’s own back yard. Good for you, stealing that tomato. Next time, your mama better shape up, huh?!

Katie, I must say, from one Katie to another, I find your hair (or maybe fur) to be delightful. I’m so sorry your walkies was not all you hoped and dreamed, but your pictures are lovely, dear.
