I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

We get to witness spring all over again. Daffodils were over more than a month ago down in Alabama…and they’re just opening here in Michigan.

Looks like another calendar picture to me — she’s stunning (and how cool, celebrating two Springs in one year!!)

I took it with the calendar in mind. I’ve done a calendar of her each year for many years. I haven’t been able to throw any of them out once the year was over. They sort of chronicle the previous year, as I use pictures taken the previous year. For example my 2018 calendar has a lot of pictures of our travel adventures from 2017.

Thank you. We’ve had a few really beautiful days. I’m lucky Katie makes me go outside when we have those days so I don’t miss anything. She’s good about getting me out the door.

Katie is probably thinking deja vu, ‘seeing’ as she saw her Alabama jonquils blooming a month and a half ago!
