I don’t know what it’s been like where you are, but around here it’s been grey and rainy most days. Seems like we haven’t seen much sun in weeks.
We had an early winter, early snow, early cold temperatures and now, though it’s warmer, it just rains and rains.
There won’t be snow for Christmas, but that’s OK with me. I’d just like to see some sun.
It’s hard to remember when you’re walking the dog around puddles in the street, hood up to keep the rain off your glasses that just a day before we had walked in her park with beautiful skies overhead.
How soon I forget!
So I will endure this, another rainy day, because who knows…tomorrow could be filled with sun!
We hope each of you enjoy a beautiful day today, rain or sun.

We’ve had that same kind of weather here. Parts of me would prefer to shovel rather than this gray drippy mess!

I’m fine not shoveling. Though I’m sure it’s inevitable.

I love how sunlight makes dead winter grasses glow.
Extremely rainy here. We’ve had storm system after storm system moving through since last week. Very windy today. It’s eased up for a bit right now, but was gusting 30 – 40 mph an hour ago. Temps have been in the high 40s to low 50s, so no sign of snow.

I love when the sun peaks out on a dark day and makes everything glow against the sky.

It’s 60 degrees here in NJ and pouring like crazy! I am thankful it is not snow, as it is December and that would make more sense! The sun will reappear eventually I figure 🙂

Pouring rain would be a lot of snow! Yes, I figure it will show up eventually too….maybe Christmas Day will be pretty. I worry for all the people trying to travel in this, I’m afraid there will be some very disappointed families as people are stuck in airports everywhere. I used to tell my mom that it was so hard to travel at Christmas, not just the crowds but the weather being uncertain. I told her much better to get together in the summer…but still….Christmas is such a family time it’s hard to be apart.

We got a little snow early this morning, the ground is white again and things look all fresh and pretty but no sun 😦

We got a tiny bit overnight too, not enough to really cover anything, and definitely no sun.

It’s been unseasonably warm up our way, too, but we still have white on the ground. They are predicting heavy snow later this week. I don’t like traveling at Christmas, either.
