A few years ago we had a mother/daughter duo playing clarinet in our community band. I took this image just before a concert, for another of Cee’s black and white challenges, that time for two of anthing.
I’ve always liked it, and so did they. I gave them a framed copy.
The daughter was in high school at the time, and now she’s graduated from college. Time flies, but connections made through music last forever.

Thank you. I took a small camera with me on purpose and shamelessly used them to fulfill my challenge. They were confused at first, but were good sports and went along with it. That’s why I made them the print.

My sister played the clarinet when we were kids. Your photo brought back some fun memories. 😀

I used to play clarinet. No wonder this duo loved the photo — such a great capture!

I liked it a lot. I always admired this mother/daughter pair, they are very close and really great people and I thought it was pretty special that for a few years they got to play in the same band, same section, often sitting next to each other. Special memories for them. This image just captures that.
