Smell-a-blog would make you smile too.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

It WAS pretty good! We’ve (mostly me) managed to eat almost the entire smaller loaf. Already.

I’m sure it smelled pretty good. I can’t smell so much anymore, but I can remember what baking bread smelled like, and that works out too.

Some of the time anyway! I also spend a great deal of time thinking about cleaning out the guest room. Not that we’ll have any guests, but I’ve been meaning to do it for….well…years.

It was an easy, no kneed, recipe. Tastes good too.

This is almost exactly the same recipe but you don’t have to knead it. A little less flour, just stir it all up, let it rise in the same pan, divide it into the loaf pans, let it rise again and back. Easy.

Haven’t made simple white bread in a long time. Something nice about it.
