I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

So cute. 🙂 Our squirrels have not found the bird feeders yet. Or the peanuts I put down specifically for them.

Really? I have a black squirrel, a dark black/brown squirrel, three this regular color and 2 little red squirrels. At least. One of them is good at jumping from the deck into the bird feeder. It’s quite a leap. We call him the flying squirrel.

When we first moved here 28 years ago there were none around. Now I have a herd. Wonder why? LOL

We didn’t have any when we first moved here. We didn’t have any large trees other than birch and I guess the squirrels lived in neighbors’ yards who had big ole oake trees. Now we have them coming from a long way off and a few squirrel nests in our birch trees too. I guess they know a good thing when they see it.

Squirrels are so darn cute… but we had one torment us all summer by trying hard to get into the garage. When we put a new roof on and got new gutters… his tormenting ceased.
Crossing our fingers still.

We have a persistent chipmunk who chews up the rubber thing at the bottom of the garage regularly. 😦
