I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. So cute. 🙂 Our squirrels have not found the bird feeders yet. Or the peanuts I put down specifically for them.

    • Really? I have a black squirrel, a dark black/brown squirrel, three this regular color and 2 little red squirrels. At least. One of them is good at jumping from the deck into the bird feeder. It’s quite a leap. We call him the flying squirrel.

    • We didn’t have any when we first moved here. We didn’t have any large trees other than birch and I guess the squirrels lived in neighbors’ yards who had big ole oake trees. Now we have them coming from a long way off and a few squirrel nests in our birch trees too. I guess they know a good thing when they see it.

  5. Squirrels are so darn cute… but we had one torment us all summer by trying hard to get into the garage. When we put a new roof on and got new gutters… his tormenting ceased.
    Crossing our fingers still.
