Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

The house of closed doors

Having a puppy who is almost housebroken causes a change in lifestyle to some extent.  We now live in a house with all doors closed so that she has fewer options in which to cause mischief.  Sometimes we forget, but she never forgets.  She must do hourly rounds of inspections because if we leave the laundry room door open there will soon appear on our living room floor underwear, socks or kitchen towels.  Sometimes these are clean;  sometimes they are not, she doesn’t seem to have a preferance.  If we forget and leave a bathroom door open within the hour there will be shredded pieces of toilet paper floating around our living space.  She never worries that sharing her creations may get her into trouble.

So.  We live in a house with all doors closed.   But she IS cute!

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.
