I’m checking how some old photos that I’m scanning into my computer will appear if I were to use them here.

Not too bad.  Can you guess who this is?  Those of you in the family will know…some of the rest of you will guess correctly.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

    ding, ding, ding, ding! You win the prize! Yes it’s Dad, in Dec 1953 when “Uncle Sam made him an offer he couldn’t reject,” and he entered into the Army for two years. He always told the story of his induction with that opening line.
