I had a second interview today at the urban library I interviewed with a couple of weeks ago. I have no idea how it went. Once again there was a question that I didn’t handle well. This one was about how constant media, the 24/7 news shows and available information changes outreach responsibilities. I really need to think about this; I’ve never considered how the two might interrelate. So I muddled through and I doubt that whatever I said made any sense at all.
Regardless, I did the best I could. I’ve never asked more than that from anyone else, so I guess I can’t expect more than that from me.
But still.

Hooray, you got a second interview! Do I remember correctly that you weren’t sure how the first one went? Here’s hoping the trend (of them inviting you back in spite of your uncertainty) continues…

Well, I would think that the fact that you got a second interview is a good sign! I think it would be a really extraordinary person who was able to answer every question in an interview just exactly right. I always think you express yourself so well. I can’t imagine that wouldn’t come across in your interviews. 🙂

What kind of question is that?
Congratulations on getting a second interview. Hoping, hoping, hoping you get some good news!

Sometimes there is no “right” answer, of course; it’s more an investigation into how you think and put together what you do know. 2nd interview is always a good sign; keeping my fingers crossed.
