Our broker gave husband a little rubber pig to bring with him to the south. They give a pig to everyone going on vacation, asking people to take pictures of the pig in different places, photos they then post on their office wall.
So…here’s what Mr. Piggy did yesterday: First he went on a boat ride…
..to an island where he went swimming with all of us.
Then he explored the island…
..finding lots of interesting places to hang out.
Then he climbed a mountain overlooking the giant lake…
…that had a huge fire tower on it.
All in all it was a very good day.

Hello, Mr. Piggy! We see you! You are a very adventuresome fellow, indeed. (This reminds me of when my daughter and I went to Europe a few years ago. We took a cribbage board shaped in a “29”. We took a pic of the cribbage board in 16 different places…always posing it strategically.) I like Mr. Piggy. He’s so…pink.

Kat takes little gnomes with her when she travels. We have a picture of the gnome on the Great Wall of China, in a subway station in Seoul, South Korea and having lunch in Beijing, as well as a few other places.

Putting the pig in each photo was really cute! That pig sure did get around!
Have you heard of the children’s book Flat Stanley? My cousin Meredith had a school project where they drew flat versions of themselves and sent it to a relative and then the relative took the Flat Meredith (in our case) all around and took pictures. It reminds me of your pig!

Very cool for Flat Stanley!!! I think that might be the way I travel next time…that way I can still be home with my Katie-girl whom I miss very very very much now.
