I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Very pretty – very green! Have you been getting a lot of rain where you live? Everything here is wilted and brown – haven’t had nearly enough rain, and too much heat/humidity.

Samatha: We have been getting rain…I don’t know if it’s a lot, as I’ve been away, but certainly enough to keep things here green. Lovely, isn’t it? Usually by now our lawns are brown too.
Sara, you make me laugh! I didn’t even see the typo in the second message until you pointed it out!
Ricky – white ones are my favorite, I am overrun by pink ones!

I love the all-green theme! I don’t think we get those flowers in CA.
Dawn, would you mind if I used your “Wordless Wednesday” theme in my blog? (I might have asked before but don’t remember.)

Are these cone flowers? I didn’t know cone flowers were green! I thought they were pink…? Oh, reading the comments carefully, I now see that perhaps some coneflowers are white. Beautiful!
