I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Nice! I just bought some fresh mozarella at the grocery store to make a salad out of my homegrown cherry tomatoes and basil, add a little basalmic and olive oil…..doesn’t that sound delicious? There is nothing better than a fresh picked tomato. Nothing.

Katie looks beautiful with those red hibiscus! Hey, your tomatoes look great! Guess your gardening went better this year than last! We picked our first tomatoes from our one container tomato plant this morning but they are not as pretty as yours!

I have tons of green tomatoes on my plants, but so far nothing is getting red. Actually, few are large enough to consider ripening. But I have hope! Yours are gorgeous, and I am so jealous.

Yes, last year out of 2 regular (or maybe 3, I forget) sized tomato plants I got one or two tomatoes. This year I only planted one plant, in a pot, and this is what I have gotten so far, first picking was today! 🙂

Those are from a potted tomato plant! I’m jealous. We have several tomato plants and they are growing well, but nothing seems to be in a hurry to ripen. 😛

Marie- just a little sun and heat and they’ll all ripen at the same time! LOL
