I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Katie always looks freshly groomed to me. But she does look like maybe the grooming visit isn’t her most favorite thing. Today we took our girls to the U-Bathe, which they tolerate but do not like. Double whammy for Bailey, before that we stopped at the vet to have her elbow checked. The good news? It’s probably an infection, not anything really bad, and she’s lost some weight. We have both of them on a fat-dog food. Shasta? She gained? What the heck?

Yea, she’s always beautiful, but this time she came back from the groomer (later than usual) fuzzier than usual, especially her face; she looked like she had some sort of buzz cut on her face, all the fur was sticking straight up and out. Silly girl. She HATES the groomer.
Carol…we have had Katie (and previous sheltie Bonnie) gain while eating “diet” dog food as well. It’s the amount I think…does Shasta steal Bailey’s dinner?
