I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Yes it was! This was on the way home from one of Penny’s adventures. I had my camera, and this is only 1/2 a mile from home. I saw it out of the corner of my mind, and turned around to take the shot.

It does. Certainly not mid-February! We might get snow tomorrow…if so I should go get the same image with snow!

It does look that way, doesn’t it. In reality it’s on a busy road and there’s little shoulder so I was trying to be quick but not fall in! 🙂

Well, not REAL soon! Perhaps in April. Unless this warm weather continues then I guess things could start popping but that wouldn’t be good for the plants. That happened one year, things leafed out and then we got a typical snow storm complete with below freezing weather and everything died.

There are many challenges with cold climates that I’m learning about from my blogging friends.
