I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

At least. And now she’s shedding for spring, so there’s at least 3 pounds of fur rolling around on the floor.

I remember seeing photos of Katie and marveling how much fur she had compared to Penny. Even losing all that fur, I think she’s still got enough fur left to keep her warm outside.

yes she is 3. Dec 5th of 22 is her birthday. We got her Feb 11 of 23.

Happy Gotcha Day, sweet girl! The Monk’s Gotcha Day is in February, too. I guess winter is an okay time to get a new pup, though it’s kind of hard on parents taking one so little out in the snow.

Oh my goodness, so sweet! I was just telling someone the other day about how my collie Teddy got his name – that when he was a puppy, he had those round ears, and button eyes and nose that made him look just like a teddy bear, just like Penny looks here.
