Yesterday was a beautiful day. Blue sky like we haven’t seen in a long while. Fresh snow on the ground from the night before. Sunshine.
Katie and I spent a good amount of time outside exploring. She loves the snow, and I do too, when I’m wearing my heavy coat and boots. Here we are, me trying to get her to look at me, and her being…well…her.
After awhile, with me calling her and asking her to sit…she did.
We had lots of fun playng in the snow. I saw this tree with it’s great shadow; looked perfect to try a water color painting technique. So I took the picture and hope someday I’ll make the time to try to paint it.
We spent a lot of time outdoors before I had to get ready to go to work. Katie was ready for me to go to work too. She needed a nap.
Well…she’s trying to sleep, if Mom would stop taking those blasted pictures!
It was a good day.

Did you try and make funny noises when you wanted to get Katie’s attention? Ma and Pa always make funny noises when they get the camera out. Ma says it’s very embarassing because everydog stares at her when she does it. But we like it!! Attention, attention, attention 🙂

Looks like my kind of day. Our snow is covered with an inch of ice 😦 Not much fun.
Katie looks like she might be what I call a “pillow dog”. I’ve had two dogs that just adore climbing on top of as many pillows as possible! Sweet photos of her.

Katie is very much a “pillow dog.” I’ve never had one before, so I don’t know where she gets it from! LOL! She will always be on top of the highest pile of pillows she can find. Which is why I call her a princess…as in princess and the pea.

Loved your photos – I am the same way with mom taking my picture – I don’t want to look at her no matter what she’s doing. Katie’s look on her face when she is tired of all the photos is priceless!

ah, fun in the snow….we had some last night too and I had fun chasing the flakes. Even though it is cold, the bright sunlight is so nice today.
