As I glanced outside this morning it was obvious that Christmas lights, competing in early morning with the beginnings of sunshine, lose hands down to the brilliant light tipping the tops of trees and making my birch trees glow.
Change Is Hard
…but change is certain.

The light in the tops of the birch trees is beautiful. Isn’t the sun and blue sky nice today?

Ummmmm, I don’t have sun & blue sky today 😦 I have sleet & freezing rain.

Don’t you get excited, after the Solstice, looking around and watching/waiting for the light to grow stronger and the hours of daylight to increase? We sometimes don’t appreciate light enough…but it looks like you do!

Every day can be a beautiful day, sunshine or no sunshine….when you look at light through the lens of a camera even a day without sunlight is beautiful.
