This is exactly how we experience life these days. We moved from the Detroit area to the mountains of Colorado about two years ago, to Silverthorne, to be exact, a gorgeous area, but on weekends the place is bustling with tourists from Denver and farther afield. Grocery shopping is virtually impossible, traffic horrendous, but from Mondays through Thursdays, the living is easy ….
I know that feeling! But you probably have that all year long, not just in summer. I have friends that live in tourist areas, they’re always torn, glad the tourists are gone, but missing the revenue. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was going to move your comment (somehow) to general comments, but then figured maybe you wanted it attached to this photo.
