I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Your lake photos bring back so many memories of summers spent on Minnesota lakes when I was a kid.

Must be navigating something faster than a kayak here, right?

What? You don’t believe I’m a really strong paddler? 🙂 This is behind the ski boat, looking back at Smith Mountain and it’s fire tower.

I agree. I love living near water, so am soaking up these last days here at the lake. Soon I’ll be home again with Katie-girl….not living on water. But she’s worth it. So is husband.
