Given it’s November and I’m in Michigan there are any number of brown things to capture. And you might think this would be a perfect opportunity to capture Katie. Again. Well, I was with Katie when I saw this…

…so we ran back inside for the camera. Brown is beautiful here in Michigan, especially in November.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Katie is scratching her head and saying, “What did I miss here……?” Very pretty brown, nonetheless.

LOL. Lately she hasn’t wanted to pose so much, so she might be glad to get a break.

I would have used gorgeous Katie because she has beautiful brown mixed in her fur 🙂

Definitely thought about it. But she feels she is slightly overexposed.

This leaf almost looks like a gingerbread cookie with sugar outlining it — very pretty!
