I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Such GOOD captures!! I tried to photograph a dragonfly just this morning, but he took off before I could get him in focus — drat!!

  2. Wonderful pictures! Little buzzers. Don’t their wings just whir?

  4. When your blog webpage first opened, I thought that hummer was an umbrella, a tiny little umbrella. How wonderful. 🙂

    • I can see that, now that you mention it! That one was my favorite shot because it’s so different then most images I get. This series was also different in that they were crisper then what I usually get. ISO way up so shutter speed was too.

      • I have to learn about ISO and shutter speed and depth of field and such. I have now noted that ISO increase means shutter speed increase. I know so much in life, and I know so little in life! 🙂 Thanks Dawn.
