I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Oh Penny!
I love the drama of this image, softened by that lovely little critter 🙂

The sky was amazing. I was trying to get a shot with my phone, no time to get the camera, with her in it…but she wouldn’t sit still and the sky was changing. She’s a LOT harder to photograph than Katie was, one treat contract or no one treat contract.

I think you succeeded. And Penny is still young. Give her a chance!

Yes, everything is interesting. She’s seen her first squirrel, her first birds, and her first garbage truck….and I think she saw deer back there once, but not sure if she noticed them. They sure noticed her.

Sweet girl! For a moment I wondered if it was Penny I was looking at or if it was a puppy picture of Katie. The lack of snow threw me.

The lack of snow is a wonderful thing. We’re supposed to get snow tonight. Sometimes she does look quite a bit like Katie did at her age.

Little puppy, big yard. Soon Miss Penny will be exploring it from one end to the other — and chasing away all your squirrels!

She wants to now. But that leash with her mom and daddy attached is just too much to let her do it right now.

She is pretty happy out there, lots to smell. Lots to pick up, lots for mom to say “Drop it!” to!

It went south of us, all we had was a bit of wind. Lucky us!
