I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  5. Beautiful, smart Penny at the middle of the maze. 💕

Hi Dawn, does that harness help reduce Penny pulling? I like that it is not cut too high at her throat.

    • She’s not a big puller, I just like that she’s less likely to back out of it than a collar, and that I’m not pulling on her neck. She’s wearing a collar most of the time now at the house, and so far she hasn’t figured out she could pull her head out of it. She can still get a little crazy out on her leash so I feel safer with the harness. But I think it will be too hot once summer arrives.

  7. Aw, Penny is growing into such a beauty — and that geometric design matches her harness so well! Monk has a black harness — I’d never even think of walking him without it! Fortunately, it doesn’t slip over his head the way a collar can. Guess we’ve become pros at this, after so many years, huh?

    • Yep, I feel safer with her in the harness as well. She’s still so young she sometimes gets wild when we’re out, and getting the zoomies outside makes me really nervous. She wears a collar in the house and in our yard most of the time (always on the leash outside) and so far hasn’t figured out she can probably pull her head out of the collar. She needs to wear a collar in school (she had her first class last week) so she needed to get used to wearing one. Which she did with no problem. Smart little girl.

      • I hate zoomies when I’m on the other end of Monkey’s leash! He’s gotten really strong, and I’m afraid he’s going to yank my arm right out of the socket. That, or pull me over. It’s kind of embarrassing, too, when there are other people and dogs watching us!
