I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Lovely. They grow quickly. Does she still have those razor sharp puppy teeth? That is one part of puppy life I don’t miss!

She has lost all her baby teeth, it seems like she lost them all at once. We never saw so many baby teeth all over the floor before!

Oh gracious, where did the puppy go?? Penny, each stage of life is to be accepted with grace (yes, even those awkward “teenage” months!), and just think — one day pretty soon, you’re going to be fully grown and drop-dead gorgeous! Not that you’re not perfectly stunning now, of course!

I know. I miss my rolly polly puppy. That time goes so fast. I am looking forward to seeing what her full coat looks like. She’s a beautiful red color.

That she is! Monk’s coat is much darker (his daddy is a Tri.) I hate to say it, but I didn’t want my next pup after Dallas to look too much like him (it would hurt too much, y’know?)

Yes I sure know. When Katie died I wanted another dog, but wanted a male, tri-colored to be as not like Katie as possible. So we have a sable female. LOL

She does look quite a bit like Katie, but she’s entirely different too. We can still ask Katie how Aero is, I’m sure they’ve run into each other by now.

She’s not real sure about being in the woods. Lots of new sounds and smells. She likes being outside but in the open where she can see. She LOVES to be out in our backyard watching the birds fly around.

She’s curious about everything. But she especially likes watching birds fly. I think she’d like to fly herself.
