I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

It is, isn’t it! The orchard was from a friend who was saying thank you to us for taking care of her garden and chickens while she was out of town.

I liked it a lot too. It’s just sitting on my island in the kitchen, but it was sort of dim light, and the blossoms glowed. Couldn’t resist getting a shot.

Dawn this is stunning … your photograph is stunning! When I click on it to save it, it shows up as only a 44KB file, a tiny file, tho maybe that’s just the blog app cutting it down. Others here talk about how the photo could win a prize … it could and should! I’m hoping you have a larger version of it to showcase it. Don’t be shy. Do not be shy. Send the largest version you have to flower magazines, to art magazines, to photography magazines, it’s gorgeous. But you’ll need a larger size.
I keep going back and looking at the photo .. oh my word, it’s amazing. Thank you for sharing with us first. Because soon you will be famous. 🙂

Yes I do have a bigger copy of the image, just don’t want to use up my WordPress storage. I don’t know about FAMOUS…but I sure do like to take pictures.
