I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Yes, we took another trail, which turns out was mostly flooded and muddy, not nearly as nice as the one they closed!

It worked out ok, other than having to walk down a flooded trail to get back to the car.

We don’t know. It was our first time there…we just took an alternative trail back to the car.

Ah, maybe a disappointment, but there’s another trail around the corner, another view to explore, another piece of music to enjoy, another smell to sniff. 🙂

Definitely. We took an alternate trail back to the car and both got very muddy. The closed trail looked a lot dryer, but who knows what’s around that corner.

For sure. I thought about just going up it anyway, but it was our first time at this park so I thought maybe I should follow the rules.
