I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

    • She loves snow, she loves to play in the backyard, though it’s not fence so she’s playing while attached to a long line. Sometimes that gets a bit dicey for the adult out there with her. She likes to chase snow balls and run as fast as she can. The current snow is the most she’s ever seen, but because it’s also so cold we haven’t been out in it much at all. we’re supposed to get more snow in the next couple days and it will be a little warmer, so we’ll see. She’s going a bit bonkers inside so much.

    • I just have to say “treat!” and she’ll do that. Katie did the same thing until she went deaf the last few years of her life. I never got the head tilt after that, and it made me sad. So I smile pretty wide when I get it from Penny.

  12. That’s a great head tilt Penny – I am sure you are saying “Mom, this is no walk in the park when it’s snowy and cold, even if I have a lot of long fur!”
