I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Peek-a-boo! Lovely, Dawn! We don’t get any swans up here 🙂

Really? I’ve always lived here and have assumed they’re everywhere.

I take that back. I have never seen them here but, after doing a quick little search, have found out that we do have Trumpeter Swans. Go figure…

I’m not sure, but I think we only have Trumpeter Swans when they’re on their way to somewhere else. Maybe on their way to you!

This was the first image I took when a friend and I went to Kensington a couple weeks ago. I thought she looked so graceful.

Nesting time or quiet preening time? I saw my first goslings on Monday. That is very early as they usually arrive the end of April.
