I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

She wasn’t real happy about being asked to sit on mulch. Especially since she got told to sit twice. The first time she sat for a second and got up. Not long enough, so we had to try again. This was the second time and she was miffed.

She seems like she’s getting prettier every day. Her breeder says her full adult coat is coming in. Who knew it took this long? I don’t remember this with Katie.

Well, she wasn’t that cooperative, but she is pretty among the flowers. That’s a tree peony behind her, their blossoms only last a day or so.

I had to ask her to sit a second time because the first time she popped right up before I got the picture. She was not pleased.

Penny has that head tilt down perfectly! What a gorgeous shot, even if she doesn’t look exactly pleased about having to pose!

She knows all about posing and getting a treat. And she can still hear so I can ask her a question and she’ll tilt her head. I missed that when Katie got deaf and I didn’t get head tilts any more.
