Change Is Hard

Four Seasons Part 2

Penny here.

You might have noticed that mom is still missing. I’m kind of worried, even though daddy said it was all going to be just fine. But I’m also a bit miffed, cause mom has more beautiful pictures of me and she hasn’t posted them! So I guess I’ll have to do it myself.

Katie warned me there would be days like this.

So without further ado, here are the images from our second 4 season photo shoots! I think you will agree I am simply stunning.

Ahem.

November of 2023, where it all began:

Winter of 2024:

Spring of 2024:

Summer of 2024.

Fall of 2024! (My personal favorite.)

I hoped you liked my second set of 4 seasons images. Mom told me she had fun too, but NOBODY has as much fun as me!

Talk later,

Your professional model (who will be increasing her fees if she has to do all the work around here),

Penny

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Splendiferous, Penny! You truly are a star model and this chosen area is just stunning in all seasons. (Of course because you are in them…)

  2. Don’t laugh but when i saw the first photo of the supermodel Penny, I was like “why does she have an arrow resting on her head?” And THEN I realized it was a log floating in the water in the background. She is a gorgeous dog though. You must spend hours brushing her every day!!

  3. Penny, I’m right there with you. It’s one thing to be a model, but having to manage editing photos plus writing this blog are two additional things … and should earn you major brownie points and treats! That said, you are one gorgeous Sheltie, and I love your seasonal photos (though I must admit, that “arrow” over your head in the first shot really gave me pause!)

    • Well, I could pretend that I meant to have an arrow over my head Sort of like a British hat you know. But really I never noticed it until all you nice people pointed it out. I’ll have a talk with mom when she gets home and tell her she has to be a better editor otherwise I will have to reduce her salary.

  4. Good job, Penny! Sometimes moms need a break, and it’s really nice that you jump in and take care of things while she’s on break. I agree, your favorite picture is also mine.

  5. Penny–you make all the scenery extra lovely. And, yes, to the fee hike. I think Katie’s fee was one treat for one photo. Surely you can do better than that. Mom will be so impressed with your bargaining power!

  6. Beautiful pictures. The first one made me laugh, it looks like the dog has an arrow on its head. Be safe.

  7. Penny – what can I say except the scenery is enhanced by your poses. My favorite photo is the same as yours – Fall of 2024’s trees are gorgeous and so are you!

  8. Hi beautiful Penny!  Thank you for sharing your 4 season series.  You are absolutely stunning and add more beauty to each photo.  Fall 2024 is my favorite photo, too.  You look so regal – your beautiful furs are laying perfectly.  Just gorgeous!  Sending you a kiss on your nose.  Mom will be back soon!  Love you good girl!  🥰

    • I sure hope you’re right about mom coming back soon. She’s been gone a whole week and daddy’s noticing that I’m getting more and more anxious because she’s not home yet. I’m worried she’s gone forever! I think I’ll go jump on top of dad and ask him again where mom is!

  9. Oh, thank you Penny. We would be destitute without photos of you, whether in sun, shade, snow, whatever. You are so pretty, so handsome. Hope you get your mom up to speed soon. She’s super too.

    • I don’t know, Ms. Ann. Mom is pretty slow sometimes ,it’s really hard to get her trained in a timely manner. But I’m working on it. She should be home soon, and when she gets here, other than jumping on her and barking at her, I’m going to have a sit down talk about my new expectations now that I’m doing the posting and editing and stuff. I expect she’ll capitulate and give me more and better treats.

  10. Penny!!!!! You look beautiful. Love, love love that Fall one.

Now, go take a nice nap. You must be utterly exhausted from all this hard work. I don’t know how you do it.
