I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  2. This made me laugh because the first two photos looked a little ungraceful. But the landing–perfect 10!

  5. You know, Dawn, I can see these photos choreographed with music (perhaps the finale from Swan Lake?) Or Waltz of the Flowers? What glorious birds — their white feathers really stand out against the blue water.

  7. That was quite a landing you captured Dawn. It would be difficult enough on water, let alone on the ice.

  8. Ah, a little wobble here and there to clear the riff-raff from the runway … and then a perfectly pleasant landing. Beautiful.
