I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.
The Monk doesn’t get ham either (my late dad always said pork tears up their stomachs, and I’ve never felt inclined to test out that pronouncement). Penny looks amazing with bunny ears! No such dress-up here. It was hard enough getting Dallas to wear costumes! Happy Easter to all of you!
Penny only gets her dog food and an occasional blueberry. Oh and cheese at school. Penny is more tolerant than Katie was of wearing silly things. I have no idea why, as she’s not tolerant of much else!
She’s so patient with me, which is wildly weird as she has no patience at all of most things. Katie wouldn’t wear the ears and barely tolerated the Santa hat. Penny is just like….Oh whatever, mom!
Penny – yep, I’d be questioning what was on Mom’s head too, but what a great shadow picture it made. You sure looked sweet – ears to a Happy Easter for you and yours.
