I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

We went to a fun rally run Saturday in Lansing, but other than that we stayed home and inside because it was so hot! And noisy!

It was pretty noisy around here too, all neighborhood stuff. Totally unnecessary.

I’m a little late here….so Happy 6th of July😂 Hope you had a good 4th, and that the fireworks didn’t bother you too much. Chewy slept thru them all.

She says happy 6th to you too! The fireworks made her nuts, she wanted to protect us from whatever was attacking. I had to go to the bedroom with her, and turn up the TV. She associates bedroom with sleeping, so she mostly slept in there unless it was a particularly loud boom. Next week we have the county fair, a mile from us and they’re doing fireworks on the 11th. Sigh.
