Wordless Wednesday – diving into the holidays

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  2. Dawn, you can dive gracefully into the holidays, just like the birds. I’ll stick with my usual belly flop!

  3. I wish I had all the lovely bird activity that you have. Always the best photos.

    • I take waaaaay too many bird photos through my windows because I DO have the best birds. I sorted through hundreds of them last night, filing them away where they belong, and along the way I’ll find a few good ones. Like this one. I usually don’t even know I have them when they’re like this and I’m always so happy when I see what I got. Also so unhappy at the number of unfocused blurry or totally empty frames much of the time! I don’t share most of those!

  9. Happy Thanksgiving! I had a cardinal eating the berries of the burning bush near my garage. I stood there and watched until he flew away. His Missus was up in the tree in my front yard.
