Wordless Wednesday

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

    • It definitely was. From an ice storm two weeks ago that I just haven’t gotten the images processed to show you. It was pretty amazing. Since then everything has melted, this morning it was all green and warm feeling out. Then it started to snow. I’m afraid to look outside now. That one day was probably our January thaw.

  5. Poor little frozen thing! But hey, at least there’s a bud, which just might point to spring, right?!

  6. Ice sure can be beautiful when you capture a photo like this … the poor leaf is probably buried in snow now, or frozen solid! When they said we’d go from mid-30s this morning to a real feel of minus 10, I didn’t believe them. It’s -12 real feel here and you might be even colder.

    • It was cold and then we either got used to it or maybe it moderated a bit. But I hear this week will be even colder. I think Pen is going to have to wear her boots again. Fun stuff.

      • Yes, brutally cold Monday and Tuesday, then again on Friday. I do promise that I will not complain about the heat next Summer. I say that every year, but we’ve been dealing with this wintry stuff since Thanksgiving and I think all Michiganders have had enough. I think you’re right about the boots – she won’t be happy.
