Katie went to the groomer yesterday and is all pretty today. So I’m sending out pictures of her coat, hoping some of you will help me figure out what kind of sable little girl she is. She has a fan of lighter sable fur along her shoulders, then a darker body. Here she is reluctantly letting me photograph her from behind.

And here she is from the side. So what color Sheltie would you say she is?

Now I need to go and play a rousing game of Fetch the Froggie!
See you later!

Beautiful markings; as if painted on 🙂 We wonder why she’s so reluctant to letting her take pictures of her back? Sorry, we can’t help you with your question, our Ma is still trying to work out what colour Sheltie we are!! We keep changing colour like a chameleon it seems, sometimes we’re lighther and sometimes darker. You’re very beautiful in any case, Katie!!!

She is definitely a Mahogany Sable…..not quiet as dark as Reilly’s dog dad…..but definitely what they call mahogany…….and she has such a beautiful coat…..she looks very very pretty after being to the groomers

While unpacking from a recent trip to Katie’s house (she lets Dawn and Bruce live there, as long as they behave), I found a long blondish hair on a sweater and was thinking that, if I had a wife, she might be wanting an explanation as to where this came from and I would have to confess that it was from this cute little girl named Katie but don’t worry, nothing was gong to come it because she is a real bitch. (Can I use that word here?)

Wow – Katie is a beautiful dog – her coat is so silky and shiny! I am guessing mahogany sable too – but I’m no expert!
