Katie’s dad built her a few jumps, and sometimes we take the chute and/or the tunnel out to play. Last night, given the perfect weather, Katie and I couldn’t resist having a little agility fun in our own backyard.
Which way do I go Mom?
OK. Let me get this straight. You want me to run THROUGH this thing?
THIS thing? For sure? Run through it? Right?
OK, I’m all ready! Just say when Mom!
OH! Through it? Not around? Are you SURE?
How about this tunnel Mom…I’m ready to go..
AUGH!! I forget! THROUGH it???
I’m confused Mom, you need to be more specific!
OK! Now that you’ve explained it THAT way…..
Ahhhh…my little one…you always make me laugh.

Yes, but no fence! So I’m always a little worried. She has to be focused on ME or she goes back on the leash.

Oh what a fun time! Katie is so darn cute. I’m sure she is thrilled to finally have her own playground in the yard.

Well we have real agility tonight, so we’ll see how happy she is with everyone else around!

Very cute! And your yard would be perfect if it were fenced in! 🙂
I think we should always go around the chute – maybe that can be adopted as the rule and the proper way to perform that obstacle!!

We didn’t get to do chute in class tonight. It was out, but we ran out of time. We DID do teeter…weaves, jumps (lots and lots of jumps!) Aframe, tire, tunnel and table though! And Katie was adorable and probably the best dog there. But I’m biased.
