I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Those are pretty, it sometimes seems alarming how fast the seasons are rushing by lately…I am barely ready to be welcoming fall, now you are talking winter???? Def. not ready for that! LOL

I can’t remember what the rule is about the wooly bears – more black =harsh winter or mild winter? Do you know? I sure hope that caterpillar means mild winter!

Yes Ricky! It’s about the wooly bear caterpillar! I thought that the wider the brown part was the worse the winter. But I hope I’m wrong!!

Our winter is supposed to be cold, and hopefully wet. So they say, we shall see. But I’m counting on fall hanging on for at least another month. Maybe even 6 weeks?

Oh no – I hope you are wrong too. I have seen some that look like the one in your photo and some with far more black.
