Change Is Hard

Katie and the weave poles

I think some of you need a Katie fix.  Just because you haven’t seen her in a week doesn’t mean she hasn’t been doing her homework.

We’re working on weaves out in the backyard.

She’s got the general idea, the weaving in and out.

It’s just those darn entries that are difficult.  So hard to remember where to start Mom!

I’m using her frisbee as the “treat” at the end of the weaves.  Sometimes she gets so excited getting ready to run that she pops out one weave too early.

We’re working on it.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Yay Katie! And what’s better than a frisbee as a reward for all that hard work?

  2. Katie – what are you doing weaving for a frisbee? You should hold out for some FOOD! I wouldn’t be caught dead weaving for a toy – LOL!

  6. Nicely done Katie! Dare says to tell you that weaving for a frisbee is pretty great in her opinion too. Although we do mix it up with treats from time to time.
