I woke up cranky about the 3 inches of new snow that fell overnight.
I turned on the TV to watch the news while I got ready for work and saw the headlines from Japan.
Guess I’ll shut up and go shovel the driveway.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Reminds me of the old quote, “I complained because I had no shoes and then I met a man without feet.” On the other hand enough all ready with the snow.

Well, you’re right, of course. Still I’d be happy to see an end to the snow.

I knows! Mom couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the news this morning. All those poor people and animals! We’re ready to help with our green papers if they need it!
