If I must weed, let it be in a patch of lavender.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  3. Yes, that would be THE way to weed!

I just saw your reply about Aunt V. I am so sorry she is still in the hospital. I do agree that she must not want to burden you and your husband and she probably thinks she is even though you told her a thousand times that she isn’t. Hang in there.

  4. Weeding is rapidly becoming one of my least favorite chores. As a result, a lot of what I’ve been calling weeds are now being called wildflowers.

  6. How pretty! Love how you captured the shade of purple. The pictures you are taking with your “new” camera have really been delightful.

  7. Oh this quote is so lovely! In the last couple of days, walking up the road, there is only the smell of lupine perfume. It is just as wonderful as lavender, I think.
