I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Ok, so if you plant a pine cone, will a new tree grow?

well, you know for a life philosophy that pretty much sums it up! Lately I def. feel like the second one with all my little bristols out and sticking everywhere-a little hard to get close to and persnickety and with little pieces about to fall off-esp since my foot has been hurt, hahahaha, it is the perfect analogy, LOL.

I like to dress pine cones up in a glass bowl with ribbon. Acorns are lucky. Your philosophy pretty much sums up life.
Have fun today.

Indeed! Hoping you’re feeling young – feeling old is exhausting!

Fun! I agree. Especially as we get older, this seems to come up. Speaking of which, I have a whole pile of pine cones which need raking. Sigh.
