Today the temps were in the low 40’s, the wind was howling and the rain was coming down sideways. I miss summer already. Luckily Katie and I got to go to her favorite local park last Sunday while the sun was shining and the air was still warm.
She said it was about time she got to do something fun.
She ran around a lot…
…while I noticed all the subtle colors.
Despite today’s weather we are only beginning the fall season, and haven’t reached our peak color yet.
Still, if you look you’ll see beautiful soft color everywhere.
Katie says…Hurry up Mom! Geeze I have to wait for you all the time!

I hate cold weather. Im glad I dont live in the north. I dont know how you guys do it. LOL . It looked like a wonderful time at the park.

Impossible to look on Katie’s happy face and not smile in return. Sunshine is supposed to revisit us today and for the next few, with temperatures climbing up to the sixties by Tuesday. Hope you get the same–for doggie fun!

She is such a doll. Our temps dipped way down a couple of weeks ago but have rebounded nicely. So far, except for a bunch of rain, it’s been mild and quite nice.

Katie does look happy. We just love being outside. Mum often leaves me behind sniffing so she says come one Ludo and I say ‘coming’.
