Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Not in Michigan

I don’t think I’m in Michigan anymore.

And I don’t suppose the picture above is any real kind of hint.  But you can try to guess if you like.

There are a lot of hills and water.

Plus a big city.

And a bridge or two.

Really, I think that’s all the hints I can give you at this time.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  5. It appears you have ventured far from home to the land of sunshine. Enjoy! You might bottle some of that sun and take it home with you for use during the cold, gray winter days.

  7. With out a doubt San Francisco. My Mom lived there for over a year and LOVED it even though she hates big cities. There is just something special about San Fran.

  9. Here you are, from some wayyyyy distant part of the country, seeing the Blue Angels during Fleet Week, and I’m just an hour away and I stayed home. (The thought of the traffic & crowds kept me away.) Glad you posted some photos!
