I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Katie must weigh much less than Dakota (he is about 25 lbs) I can’t pick him up like that! Love the photo!

Her goal weight is 20 pounds…and she’s probably about 21 right now. She asks to be picked up sometimes. Mostly it’s just for photos though. Or if I think she’s in danger. Or to get her to stop barking at something. Or if I need a hug.

It was a horse I ran across while out at a park. She seemed to like getting her picture taken.

Is that a Redbud?? So beautiful! And I must say, I’m a bit jealous that you can pick the princess up and hold her like that. Either she’s way tinier than Dallas, or your back is way stronger than mine!

Yes, it’s a redbud. They were extra beautiful this year, very full. Some years we hardly get any blossoms, but this year they were amazing. Katie weighs about 21 pounds, 1 pound over goal. She says that’s close enough for a middle age almost elderly girl.
