I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Yes, I see them in Michigan up north once in awhile but usually far away and flying. This was in Alabama.

I rarely see them around here, and like with you, they are usually far away, but I see a lot of them up close when I visit my parents in Ohio.

We got lucky. We’d gone up the river in search of an eagle nest, found the nest and and eagle was sitting on it, but could hardly see that…we were heading back home when we came across this one sitting in the tree. So beautiful!

A very beautiful lake in Alabama, actually the river on the Alabama/Georgia borders.
