I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

My sister in GA has the same issue. I don’t know why they aren’t blooming. Did yours bloom last year?

Nope. I think the problem is they don’t get enough sunshine. They’re kind of tucked between two taller evergreens, and I keep meaning to replant them in a friendlier location but I never seem to get around to it.

You’re probably right, they need to be moved.

We saw some daffodils on our walk tonight. I think perhaps spring is finally here.

You’re welcome. It was the light shining through the petals that caught my eye when I was out in the yard with the dog. Katie didn’t care, but I went back into the house for the camera. She was disappointed she didn’t get a treat out of it.
