This is a huge experiment. Click on the link above and I think you’ll be able to listen to any of the pieces we did at our Christmas concert.
Or not.
We’ll see.

In case the link doesn’t work at least you can look at this pretty scene from the one day we’ve had sun in forever.
I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I’ll have to look at the scene for now – no listening to music at work…. I’ll try again later and see if I can get it to work.

No, listening at work would not be good.

Worked just fine for me — thanks, Dawn. I wish we’d done a real Christmas concert, but our director opted to do a variety of other pieces, plus one goofy Christmas song. Wish we’d recorded ours, too!

Seems odd that he chose to do a concert in Dec and not do holiday music, but maybe he was trying to be politically correct. We’re lucky that one of our trombone players has the equipment to record. He does most of our concerts. I don’t always want to hear them again! 🙂 But mostly it’s nice to be able to hear…there’s always parts that I never knew were there.

Boy, isn’t that the truth?? Our director often has certain sections play their part so we all can hear how ours fits in, but I often wish I could sit in the audience and really appreciate it all!

I couldn’t play them, but I think it’s because my tablet isn’t cooperating. I did enjoy the photo of the trees though!

What fun! Thank you! Was that a clarinet echoing the sax on Baby It’s Cold? And was it you?

No, it was a second sax….and if it ha been a clarinet (which would have been fun) it would have been our first chair who sounds simply amazing!
