Cresting the top of a bridge the road seemed to vanish right before our eyes.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. I like roads like this but they make me just a tad squeamish….am I driving off a cliff??! Great photo from Dawn, the passenger, right? **Katie–quick take the wheel. Mama wants to get a picture.**

  4. Nailed it! There’s one of these bridges on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, too, and while I love the view from the crest, I find myself a tad nervous driving over it.
