I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

What a pretty portrait!! Cookies for the subject, Dawn! By the way, what are those tiny blue flowers? It’s hard to find pretty blue flowers, and I’d like some.

Those are forget-me-not. They come up every spring and spread (but they’re easy to pull out if they go where you don’t want them. ) I’m sure you can find seed for them.

A cutie in among the bleeding hearts. I wish Alabama wasn’t so dreadfully hot, they don’t do well down here.

But you have other things…like mountain laurel and camellias that do better down there then here.
